The Cooking Show | VonLik Responds With A Different Buffet

Asian Garden Buffet

406 Washington Ave S
Kent, WA 98032

Rating: 4 out of 5

In response to the more than mediocre buffet that Hachi experienced, Asian Garden Buffet is for those who like your friends.

The place itself is okay. It looks decent, and you wouldn’t really think anything of it. But it is a big place, so if you have large parties… look no further. They cater too.

The menu is EXTENSIVE. Something new everyday, so if you have the money, and you can’t get enough? You can basically go there everyday and just bask is the deliciousness that is Chinese, American, Japanese, and Korean cuisine. Oh, there is Thai food too.

Admittedly, the dessert part of this buffet falls short. There isn’t enough, and if there is, it’s the same thing. So the place really does put emphasis on actual dinners and lunches.

Those who fuck sushi in the ass repeatedly because you love it that much… and are only there for the sushi? Don’t bother. First, the sushi section thing only has about three choices, and at times it’s not really all that fresh. Just go to an actual sushi place. Really.

To be honest, you probably won’t want to eat dessert that much anyway since there is so much good food you’d most likely forget about the dessert.

This is basically where you go after you got that amazing grade in class, or when you finally talk to that one guy who would be your husband one day.

It’s the celebration buffet, to be honest.

Look at this selection of food:

  • Sauteed Shrimp
  • Chicken with Garlic Sauce
  • Fried Fish
  • Japanese Chicken
  • Pot Stickers
  • Sauteed Greed Beans
  • Orange Chicken
  • Vegetable Tofu Deluxe
  • Mongolian Beef
  • Vietnamese Spring Rolls
  • Korean Noodles
  • Jalapeno with Chicken Filling
  • Mashed Potatoes
  • Wonton Soup
  • Hot and Sour Soup
  • Steam Fish
  • Sauteed Mushrooms
  • Golden Fried Shrimp
  • Xiu Mai
  • Clams with Black Bean Sauce
  • Szechuan Chicken Dumpling
  • Braised Chinese Mushroom & Tofu
  • And a shit load more.

And that is only for Monday.

Oh, and if you go during lunch, you’ll only pay $7.50.

I give this place a standing ovation. The rest of the country seems to do so as well, since it is one of the top Chinese restaurants in the United States.

*Hach, just tag as you see fit.

The one positive thing I can say about this place is that I haven’t been poisoned. I am still alive-kicking. Tumbling. You know. Other then that one gracious compliment, all that is left is negativity. But, as a person who is aiming to be “more positive” with her outlook on life, stuff, shit, and crap I won’t put much energy into that negativity.

No, I am going to turn it all around and be positive.

If you’re sick, go to this buffet. Your taste buds will be weakened and for the last couple days of your sickness, you’ve seen and heard enough disgusting things to be able to tolerate the food’s apperance and the foods taste.

If you have to give someone a present, but you don’t like that someone, give them a giftcard to this place. I don’t know if they make giftcards for this place but in this situation, I would go and look. The person would only have to look at the food to know that A) You’re a douche. They will then question the relationship. That could be good. They may unfriend you on Facebook and unintentionally make you a very happy person.

Oh, and since all good things come in threes, I will give one more situation where eating at Super Buffet is possibly beneficial.

If you are suicidal, go there. You will learn a new lesson about life. That lesson will be that you often get what you pay for.

*How should we organize this stuff, Von? Tag, etc.
